Founder of Gracefully Managed and the person quietly keeping a lot of small businesses running behind the scenes.
Business degree from K-State. Small-town roots. A genuine fondness for other people's messy inboxes.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University, with an emphasis in human resources and general management. Which is a formal way of saying I spent four years learning how businesses are supposed to run and every year since learning how they actually do.
Because I didn't set out to start a business in business management. I started out making things. Jewelry, t-shirts, the kind of side hustles a lot of small business owners know well. And along the way, I noticed something: the people around me with real talent and real businesses were drowning. Not in the work they loved, but in the stuff around it. The inboxes. The invoices. The social media posts that never got scheduled. The systems that never quite got set up.
I had the training to fix it and enough scar tissue from my own businesses to know why it hadn't been fixed yet. So in 2022, I launched Gracefully Managed, and I haven't looked back since.
Some clients hand me a list and I work through it inbox, calendar, invoicing, scheduling, the tasks that quietly pile up when there's no one to hand them to.
Others hand me an outcome and I own it start to finish. I build the system, I run the system, I tell you how it's going.
And when the right tool for the job doesn't exist off the shelf, I build that too. Custom apps and simple software for businesses that have outgrown the spreadsheet but have no business buying enterprise software.
I work with small business owners, nonprofits, and rural entrepreneurs. Most of them came to me somewhere between "I need help" and "I don't even know what to ask for." Both are fine places to start.
I believe small business owners are some of the hardest-working, most generous people out there - and they deserve a real partner, not another tool or another course telling them to "just systemize." My whole goal is simple: take the stuff off your plate that's slowing you down, so you can focus on the work that only you can do. That's it. That's the magic.
I'm based in Columbus, Kansas, where I share a happily chaotic home with my family and a small menagerie of pets. I'm a flea market lover, a thrift store regular, and a sucker for a good handmade find.
I think small towns deserve great businesses, and I'm proud to support the ones in mine including my work with the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, and the local events I host to get business owners in the same room a little more often.
